Isotrol, experts in developing technology for the international energy sector, has opened a new office in Canada. By opening this office in Calgary, Alberta, the Spanish company has consolidated in the North American market, where it has owned a permanent office in Boston, Massachusetts, since 2014.
Recently, Isotrol was selected to install Bluence, its renewable asset management platform, in two wind power facilities (220 MW) in order to improve their efficiency. These projects are both located in the State of Alberta and are valued at over $ 850,000. In fact, Canada has the ideal geography to profit from its wind resources, which were enough to install 12.8 GW of power capacity in 2018.
In addition to the mentioned facilities, others also operates using Bluence technology on the continent, such as one of its largest solar power plants, which was constructed in Mexico, where Isotrol’s systems are nowadays monitoring 4.1 GW of power. It should be noted that a total of 5.7 GW of installed capacity is currently managed by Isotrol’s technology in North America, its third major market following Spain and Latin America.
