Digitalization, operations and storage were the key points of this Isotrol’s initiative devised to evaluate renewable industry according to its players’ experience
The annual global investment in renewable energy speaks for itself: 300,000 million euros in 2018. This is, without doubt, an unstoppable and critical industry in the new economy. In this context, Isotrol, as specialized technology partner, held its 8th Workshop last 7th of May in Seville, Spain. This is one of the best-valued Isotrol propositions to the industry by the attending companies and institutions. Participating companies in these annual workshops analyze the state-of-the-art and new challenges of green energy, sharing their own experience with others.
Isotrol’s Workshops are organized along panels which are focused in communication to ease exchange of ideas. In this edition, most of the conversation was about the aspects that nowadays shape renewable energy industry, such as Machine Learning, data analysis or energy storage. The main subjects of this workshop were the value of data for big companies and the electric grid stability. Lastly, attendees asked about different matters in question time, in example, wind turbine operations, voltage regulation, revamping or cybersecurity, among others.
The reality is that, taking technology and renewable industry characteristics into account, all this concepts have recently gaining ground and it is necessary to stop to analyse them. This is the value of events like this one. Eight years after the first edition, Isotrol’s Workshops are already seen as reference meeting by the industry players.
